Catriona Gray defends herself to basher who criticize her trip abroad amid typh00n Ulysses

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray assured pageant fans that she’s doing her part in extending help to typh00n victims even if she is abroad.

Catriona Gray calmly responded to a netizen who questioned her presence in Colombia amid rage of Typh00n Ulysses in her province, Bicol.

Catriona garnered the said criticism after sharing snaps of her travel on her social media page.

“Cat, why are you in Colombia instead of helping your own province deal with the typhoon? I have always been fan but especially with traveling during a pandemic? What example does taking this job send to everyone?” the netizen commented.

The netizen said that Catriona that she should be helping her province deal with typhoons instead of travelling abroad. Bicol, the hometown of Catriona, has been battered by two strong weather disturbances the past days.

The beauty queen then responded, “this invitation was extended months ago and even though I’m away I’ve been doing my part in working with @philredcross since the day of the typhoon to provide aid and relief to the affected areas. Thanks for your concern.”

The same netizen replied to Cat and thanked her for her response

But some netizens appeared annoyed at the post of the confessed pageant fan and defended the beauty queen.

Here are some of the comments:

“Hi queen! 👑 You keep safe there! God bless your work together with the Smile Train!”

“Pinagsasabi mo? Siya ba magpapatigil ng bagyo? Presidente ba siya ng bansa? Wag kang pa-woke. May masabi ka lang talaga eh noh. Kuda nang kuda. Ambassadress siya ng @smiletrainph ikaw ano ka!? Troll!”

“Never mind the troll. May masabi na lang talaga yan.”

“Judgemental, atleast check her activities before dropping your dumb opinion here. She’s doing her part helping in the country.”
